Position: Manager
6-12 months (Term negotiable)
Reporting to: Pool Administrator

Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Manager to oversee operations at the Southern Swimming Pool on a full-time basis (37 hours per week). This position is crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of our facilities, maintaining high standards of customer service, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations to ensure safety and efficiency
Manage and support pool staff to maintain a positive work environment
Maintain facilities and equipment to high standards
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Enhance customer experience through excellent service
Qualifications and Experience:
RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
Computer skills in Word and Excel
Competent literacy and numeracy skills
Previous experience of working in the
Leisure industry
Good knowledge of industry standards of health and safety
Flexible approach to duties and time
Ability to lead and manage a team
Good communication skills
Good customer service skills
Commercial/ business awareness
Good attendance record

Casual Level 2 Swimming Instructor
Casual/Relief
£30.90 per hour
Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Casual Level 2 Swimming Teacher to join our team at Southern Swimming Pool. In this role, you will deliver fun, safe, and high-quality group swimming lessons to individuals of all ages and abilities. You will also provide excellent customer service and assist in setting up equipment for lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and safe swimming lessons
Provide excellent customer service
Assist in setting up equipment for lessons
Ensure knowledge of safeguarding children and vulnerable people
Qualifications and Experience:
STA Level 2 Award in Teaching Swimming or Swim England Level 2 Swimming Teacher
Knowledge of health, safety, and relevant legislation for teaching swimming
Ability to understand and relate well to children and adults
Strong communication skills to motivate and inspire participants
Friendly and organized approach to excellent customer service
